SWISSED16, 12th September: Key Note speaker confirmed!

The SWISSED16 Organising Committee are proud to announce the confirmation of Professor de Weck as one of the Key Note speakers for SWISSED16, The SSSE's Annual Conference, organised for 12th September at Kongresshaus Zürich.

Professor Olivier L. de Weck, Ph.D. dipl.-Ing. is the Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Engineering Systems and Co-Director at the Center for Complex Engineering Systems (CCES) at KACST and MIT.  In addition he is also the Faculty Director for the MIT-Switzerland Program and the Editor-in-Chief of Systems Engineering.  Please see more information at Professor de Weck’s Wikipedia page.

 

Professor de Weck's presentation is called, “Designing Systems for the Long-Haul: the emerging Science of “Ilities”. Notably of course, Professor de Weck is also Swiss, representing SWISSED’s  first Key Note speaker from Switzerland.
