Visit NAFEMS 20./21. May 2014 in Bamberg

NAFEMS and INCOSE agreed for a cooperation in 2012. This is also acitvely lived by the related chapters. Thererfore, the conference of NAFEMS DACH (Germany/Austria/Switzerland) provides two tracks on Systems Engineering. And INCOSE members are entitled to join for the member fee!

Faster, Better, Cheaper. The Fallacy of MBSE? – A presentation by David Long

David Long, President of INCOSE, elaborated on this question: Faster, Better, Cheaper. The Fallacy of MBSE?. Can we really pick only two of them? Or will MBSE provide a way to pick the third as well?

About 30 engineers followed the great presentation by David Long. Considering the whole life cycle, MBSE provides big potential to come close the the vision faster, better, cheaper.

Call for Papers: 5th International Conference on Complex Systems Design & Management CSD&M 2014

Designing complex industrial systems is a fundamental strategic challenges. This spawned the relatively new academic field of "system architecture & engineering", producing a body of research that allows engineers to manage the increasing complexity of the technical systems they design. This field is at the interface between industry and academia, and requires its practitioners to understand the industrial concrete contexts as well as to master a strong theoretical background.
