Successful event at Schindler

Last week a Systems Engineering event took place in Ebikon hosted by Schindler AG. More than 20 Systems Engineers were participating. The event was opened with a presentation by Markus Walker about Schindler and the SE aspects of elevators. After this interesting presentation some more guests arrived and joined in on the apero kindly sponsored by Schindler. The second presentation was held by Sven-Olaf Schulze, president of the GfSE. He presented many interesting aspects of SE based on his long experience in the field.

Over 30 engineers attend the SSSE's kick off lecture!

Hosted at RUAG Space (Schaffhauserstrasse 580, 8052 Zürich) on the evening of Tuesday 6th December, Mr Manolo Omiciuolo of RUAG Space presented an informative lecture on the Systems Engineering underlying the development of a Tsunami Warning System.  The lecture was very well attended with over thirty engineers investing their personal time.  One attendee of the lecture said afterwards, "It was a very useful lecture, I now want to take the systems engineering methodology that Manolo has displayed to us and apply it to my industry".  There have been numerous requests for the presentation sli
