By using transfer path analysis (TPA), manufacturers mathematically evaluate noise contributions from the source to the receiver. This methodical approach to vibro-acoustic design helps to identify which components and structures contribute to specific noise and vibration issues. The results are used to optimize the design by choosing the most optimal and efficient modification to resolve the problem. The TPA methodology gives complete insights into the noise and vibration behavior, leading to faster troubleshooting and better product refinement.
